what are you looking for? laptop speakers to take with you easily, or desktop speakers for when you're sitting at your desk?

i have a neat little set from creative that sounds pretty nice.

this is the kit right here: http://www.callsoho.com/shop/index.p...oducts_id=3479

i don't see them on the creative site anymore though...

what's your budget like too?

I bought the JBL Spot speaker set for my g/f. I would pick up a set if I needed computer speakers. They sound pretty decent for $100.

mainly for desktop purposes. for the most part i keep my laptop at my desk, but if i move it i usually am not listening to music or anything.

i wouldnt want to spend more than 100 or so on speakers. creative is a really good brand, and those speakers are pretty cool, i just wanted to see what other people thought

are those speakers also for desktop use or mainly for easy traveling?

I use Logitech Z-2300s... They're not white, but they sound amazing- unbeatable for $150.

mainly for travelling. they do sound good, but you can get better sound for the price. you'd certainly be better off getting a 2 or 3 speaker set from creative, jbl, or logitech. if you do have room for a small subwoofer (about toaster size) on your floor you're better off with a 2.1 (three speaker) setup.

thanks guys!

i have a pretty big desk with 2 open shelves on each side, so i have plenty of room for a sub. i just want the speakers to sound good and be white since my furniture in my room is white. gotta match!! i guess i will check some prices of different brands and make a decision eventually.

thanks for all your help. more suggestions are still welcome!

I have the Harman/kardon soundsticks II. They are awesome.

I would suggest going to Apple's site and read the reviews people have wrote about the speakers Apple suggests. Then go to google and see how cheap you can get them.
