Hey,

Does anyone have an idea how I could charge my MBP battery from dead-ness with a 60W adapter, as opposed to the 85W adapter that comes with the MBP?

I have a big presentation due tomorrow that's on my MBP, and I only have a MB charger!!

Thanks!

It's a 60W adapter, so theoretically, you wouldn't be able to charge AND run it at the same time...but you might be able to do one or the other. I take no responsibility if this damages your computer, though.

I have seen a MB charger bring a MBP back to life from a dead battery. You just have to leave it off, and plugged in for a while. Once it can turn on, the 60W will charge it just fine. Personal experience, of course, I'm not sure of the effect this can have on your battery's life!
