I am looking to upgrade my hard drive on my macbook.
Would this hard drive be any good??

Mac Specs: iMac i5 2.7GHz, 16GB memory, OS 10.10.1

If you look at the specifications it is a 3.5" drive for a desktop. Does your Macbook take a 3.5" drive?

No, MacBooks and MacBook Pro's use 2.5" SATA drives as do most other notebooks.

At newegg when you get into the hard drive section, on the left hand menu select 'Laptop Hard Drives'.
