Just checking before i buy them

i own a 13" macbook and i want to connect it to my 32" hd tv

if i use this http://store.apple.com/Apple/WebObje...les&nplm=M9321

and then use a dvi to hdmi cable to connect it to the tv i can then use the tv as a moniter

just checking

most hd-tv's like mine and all but one that my friends have will have a 3.5jac port near the vga port this is where you can run your audio.

if not use a surround sound or something.
