Hello all,
I am stumped. I have an iBook G4 that is 2 1/2 years old. In October I became fed up with the battery it came with as it would only last an hour or so. The battery I bought is a TruePower 14" iBook Extended Life Battery (APP-5969). When I first got it I tried to callibrate. When it put itself to sleep and then I plugged it back in, it never went past 50%. I never thought it was too big of a deal because it would still last 3 or 4 hours. The other day I let a friend borrow the battery to finish a paper because his iBook is shot, probably PMU. Ever since I got it back the battery will charge up to 10% and then stop. It will say that is has 10:00 hours to a full charge but will not move. I have already reset my PMU. Any suggestions? -Meredith |
