In the recent revisions to the Macbook line they also added new media control key labels as you can see here http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=306843

My question is could you do similar keyboard controls with the previous Macbook models even though the keys were not labeled?
QUOTE Thanks

Nope, only the new MacBook have the media controls. On pervious Macbooks the keys are used for different purposes (F12 was dashboard, now it's F4)

SizzlingKeys4iTunes lets you set hotkeys for iTunes control (eg. I have F8 set to back, F9 to pause/play and F10 to forward). I've been using it for years and couldn't live without it.
