Hello, Just recently, I started hearing sounds coming out of the harddrive. I believe it's the hard drive. I don't think I've ever heard this sound before. Before, I don't think I was able to hear anything come out of my MBP. It's not loud or anything like that, it's just that recently I started to notice some sound coming out of the MBP.

Is this normal? What can I do to fix this?

Thanks for all the help.

it just sounds like the hard drive is spinning..

Thing is, I don't think i've ever heard the sound before.

I thought that my MBP was very silent...

The sound is not on all the time, I think on startup is when I hear it. and then it eventually goes away.
