The optical drive of my ibook G4 is not working. Currently I have a MAT****A DVD,R. Surfing around I've seen superdrives for sale for ibooks G4 of different brands as Panasonic.

I would like to know if I can replace the Mat****a superdrive for another brand's or does it has to be the same brand that came with the ibook?

Your advise is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
QUOTE Thanks
