I agree - it's overpriced for what it is. I know where you can get a G4 iBook @ 1GHz (1.07gHz G4 Processor, 512mb RAM, 30gb Hard Drive, Combo Drive (Plays DVD's/Plays-Burns CD's), Airport Extreme Wireless Networking and an AC Adapter.
It's loaded with OS X 10.4 Tiger, OS 9.2 Classic, Safari, Mail, Appleworks and iLife '06 (iMovie, iPhoto, iTunes, iDVD, Garageband and iWeb) for just about $100 more. PM me and I'll send you the link. (Authorized reseller online.)
