I googled and searched this forum and came across a few threads of poor confused newbs like myself that don't know what kinda friggen laptop they have. My screen does seem pretty shiny and I don't know if I have the glossy or the matte, can someone please assist? I checked the label and no where does it say it, nor on the label with the barcode or no indicator like GLSY or anything.

Is there any other way to tell in the part number?

*edit - am I mistaken in thinking the macbook has multiple screens you can chose from?

Macbook Pro is the only laptop that gives you a choice of Matte or Glossy screen.

Macbooks come standard with Glossy.
