i have a 15" 2.16 C2D MBP and was wondering if i could use parts from the new santa rosa 15", 17".

Led screen (15")
Graphic card
Airport 802.11n card
Soundcard? (same? built-in)
Isight camera
Speakers
What else besides parts such as ram, hdd, superdrive? more of the lines of hardware.

thanks

The only differences are the LED screen, logic board, the processor, and the video card. The rest is essentially the same. Unfortunately, just to use one of the internal parts, you would have to replace all three. As for the LED screen, it's conceivable that you could swap it out.

No, your Macbook Pro has 802.11n. You just have to enable it using the 802.11n enabler found on the Apple Store.

They weren't stupid questions. I don't think anybody has actually asked the swapping question...
