MacBook - restarts require more restarts!?

Sometimes I would restart my macbook to update some settings etc blah blah. Recently it would get to the apple load screen and a gray box comes up telling me I need to restart and I need to hold down the restart button and stuff. After that happens it will put me through the same torture another 2 or 3 times! Whats going on!? Ugh im too sleepy for this! Help! Haha.

That multi-language restart warning box means you are the proud owner of a kernel panic. Run a search here for kernel panic, bad ram is the leading issue on Intel chipped Macs, but it can be for a whole lotta reasons.

LOL!

and as for scremox: Did you by any chance install 10.4.10 update? That's that's another prime cause for kernel panics...
