MacBook - Camera isn't working Macbook

Hey, I just tried to use my camera and under normal all I get is a "Green screen" so to say, and the light near the camera is green, and it stays on, not sure why.

i have this every now and then. is the light green right from when you start up?

if so, try restarting. i know if i start my macbook but hold the button down just a bit too long it sometimes does this. restarting usually does the trick.
if it doesn't help you, then someone here may be able to come up with something else, or it could be a hardware issue.
