Does Apple offer a more powerful battery for the MBP?

If they don't, anywhere I can find one?

I'll rarely be near an outlet throughout the day so I need as much battery power as possible.

Thanks!

Will you be using "heavy" applications? such as video editing, photo editing, watching movies...etc...

Try to keep the minimum performance as possible if you're planning on using your MBP in something other than the mentioned before. I don't think Apple has a more powerful battery.

EDIT: I did a bit research at Apple Store (US) and i found you can buy an extra battery, so you have now two charged batteries, if one runs out just swap it. But (at least for me) it's not worth it... way too expensive =S

+Mighty Mouse Bluetooth.

$129 USD for the MBP battery.

It's a good idea if you are always using your MBP away from an outlet. Only problem is you can't recharge a battery without having it in the MBP.

There are companies that make cheaper batteries for the MBP (check eBay), but I've no idea what the quality is like. You can also find new or nearly new genuine batteries on eBay for a bit less.

There are some chargers you can buy to charge the batteries and condition them aswell.
