I recently bought a laptop bag by Targus, and it has no hard protection for the laptop section at all. I usually carry a generous but not excessive amount of documents and other things, and can't risk 'compression' damage.
Is there a place where i can buy a hard sleeve or box that goes into the laptop section, wherein i can put my laptop? Also, I could probably make one of these myself out of aluminum and microfiber/felt. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks |

1/4" ABS plastic would probably be easier to work with, plus it won't need beadrolling to hold a rigid flat shape if what you want is to simply add some rigidity to the laptop compartment in your bag, as oppsed to a sleeve for the unit itself.
it's also easy to glue together, and you can shape it with heat if needed. |
