MacBook Pro - My firend is having major issues with MBP

Okay so she has brought the computer in and they dont fix a thing!...
Problems:
The screen flickers
applications wont quit
Freezes up
Something pops up about IP config
programs quit and a thing pops up saying it quit unexpectedly

Have you try installing the new Firmware update from Apple which fixes the flickering screen problem for the new MBPs with LED screen?

As for the applications won't quit and freezing - I have no clue. Perhaps keep system restore as your last resort. Otherwise try using Oynx or Maintenance application.

she has a macbook pro from the beginning of the year not the newer one
