Macbook - How do you set fan speed

Mac Specs: intel core duo 2 Black Macbook 2gb of ram. 200 gb hardrive,

does anyone know how to set the fan speed on a black macbook or know how to start it when the macbook gets too hot

the fans will automatically come on when they need to. if you want to control the minimum RPM, download a an application called SMC Fan Control (do a google search). it is a good program. hope this helps.
