iBook - Spring fell out of G3, now lid won't stay closed.

I have an iBook G3, and while fixing the logic board problem, a little spring with a piece of plastic attached to it fell out. I don't know where it came from, but now the lid won't stay closed. Does anyone know what it could be and how to fix it?
