Hi,
Thanks in advance for reading this. I have a black Macbook, probably 10 months old. Yesterday, I just finished burning a DVD and then quickly slapped in another blank. The DVD ROM makes this tick tick tick sound followed by a somewhat of a mechanical sound (like reloading) and then it ejects the disk. This keeps happening. Any thoughts on what's causing this? Thanks a lot! |

the dvd rom drive probably isn't working right at all; don't think it's software, it's hardware so you'd better take it to Apple Care and tell them what the problem is; your MB should be under warranty unless you already opened it. Good Luck, Looking forward for your experience at Apple Care.
