Reinstalling osx 10.3

Hi all.

I am trying make a fresh instalation of panther on my powerbook but because i have 10.3.4 on there at the mo the panther instalation wont let me install it on my only volume. I want to format my drive and start fresh. Please could someone let me know how i can install panther??

Have you tried the "Archive and Install" option on the Panther disc?
