Macbooks have 2 ways to do a secondary click;

1. hold control (CNTRL) while clicking
2. or place 2 fingers on trackpad and then click

I was just wondering what people prefer?

Yeah, two finger click for the win. Also I'll trackpad two finger scroll often even if I have my Mighty Mouse in use. No, not because the wheel quits scrolling (though that occasionally happens) it's just sometimes more convenient especially if I'm at the office and am using the internal keyboard with just the mouse.

Since I have it set for trackpad touch-click it sometimes runs into the scroll, but a quick single tap makes whatever context menu go away.

Yh I guess its pretty awkward for macbook and macbook pro's. Maybe not so much so if you have an external mouse.

I don't think it's on by default. You need to go into mouse prefs and turn it on.

My wife's Macbook doesn't use touch-tap either, which drives me nuts if I have to use it.

Hold on a second, there are two ways to do the two finger click. First there is placing two fingers on the trackpad and then hitting the button, and second, you just tap the trackpad with two fingers, no need to touch the button.

If your second option is referring to my first method, then I can't vote since I use the second option.

yeah, the poll had me a bit confused, i've never held two fingers on the trackpad and then clicked, i've always just tapped two fingers... much easier.

thus, i could not answer the poll.
