Could anyone tell me whether it would be possible to use Power Mac G4 software restore disks on a G4 iBook? Also I have a Power Mac G4 OS X install disk and wondered whether this would work?
Thanks in advance,

Welcome to Mac-Forums, pauls68uk.

No, those disks are model-specific and cannot be used to install the OS on other Mac models.

If you want to reinstall and can't use your iBook disks or want to upgrade the OS on your iBook, you will need to buy a full retail version of Mac OS X.
