five minutes after what stopped? Five minutes after it stopped charging or what? I don't really know what you're trying to say. It could be a temporary glitch after a charge which can sometimes say you have a lot of time but then recalibrates itself. Otherwise, your battery could need recalibrating. Need more info.

this happens from time to time for example if you just bring your notebook out of sleep as it works out the time for the way you are curently useing it for example if i am rendering in fcp it will show very little time as i am useing a lot of power and then if it stop and just use msn it will go up as msn uses a lot less power the fcp rendering.

Do you mean it said 33 hours remaining and the computer shut down 5 minutes later?

Is it bad to leave the charger constantly plugged in? Originally I had it fully charged and it said 4:47 left, but after two days of having th ething plugged in all the time it says 3:28. Any explanations?
