I currently own at 15'' macbook pro and love it. I currently have 1 gb of ram and would like to upgrade to 2gb. where do i buy this and is any particular brand that i need to buy. and help/advise with the upgrade would be appreciated.

Yup, it's very easy. Apple even includes a how-to in the documentation on www.apple.com. Good luck!
