My father offered me a macbook, and I've been thinking on it. Should I jump on the oportunity now, or wait until after Apple's WWDC.

- Does anyone have any knowledge of an updated version or new laptop being released by Apple anytime soon, that is around the same type as the macbook?

macbooks were just updated a week ago, there is minimal risk at an update during wwdc

It all goes back to u. if u need the laptop now then go ahead u won't be disappointed on the contrary ur dad will probably regret buying it for u as u'll be jumping up and down from excitement for the first couple of weeks

I know I was its an awesome Laptop and OS X is just Rockin Solid man. I have the Black MacBook 2.0GHz and 2GB Rams with 160GB HDD and Love it and I accomplish a lot of work on it and I even have Windows running through Parallels and never skips a beat, its ROCK SOLID.

Hope that helps.

Just get it now. Macbooks just had a small upgrade. I doubt they'll be upgraded again soon. The Macbook Pros might be though.
