Is there any software I can download to my G4 iBook to test if the fans are working properly - and also to check what the ibook temperature is? Thanks

you can also try iStat nano...its widget that monitors all key processes and stuff on ur mac.

hi
theres also a cpu temp widget you can dload.
its quite good/

you can also see the cpu useage etc on the machine.
i cant remember where it is located. type CPU in finder.

i think its called Systems monitor.or Activities monitor.
but here you can see the progress of the disk useage / cpu activities etc
