I am running parallels on my Macbook Pro with Windows XP installed. I got GTR2 (a racing game) yesterday and installed it. Everytime I go to play it I get this error.
"No DirectX 8.1 video adapters found. Contact your video card vendor for updated drivers."

Maybe I am just an idiot, but I cannot figure this out. I have DirectX 9.0 installed. Is the Macbook Pro capable of running this game?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

You can't play 3D games through Parallels... Parallels does not yet support the graphics card...

You'll have to use Bootcamp in order to play it.
