i'm @ 16, i've had it about 2 weeks as well.

what exactly does this mean? cycles mean what exactly?

this like an aging process for a batt and only has a certain cycle/life span before it dies or something?

Basically yes, it represents a full charge and discharge of your battery. A typical life might be 300 - 500 cycles, although to battery will slowly lose performance suring this time, losing around 20% capacity after 300 cycles.

Thanks for the responce. I had a feeling that's what it was. What i didn't know was around how many cycles would it be before one woud start feeling the effects of aging.

Go to the Apple sign, look at About this Mac, then click More Information then look at Power settings. Alternatively, download Coconut Battery.
