I just received in the mail yesterday a refurbished G3 Ibook which I had purchased on eBay some time ago. I didn't have any issues with it up until last night when I tried to turn it on and no picture came onto the screen, the only thing I could hear is the welcome sound and the insides churning like it's turned on. So I figured that it needed some time to rest so this morning when I tried to turn it back on it worked but I began to notice some problems.

The screen began to flicker like there was a lot of interference until suddenly the whole screen was all static.

If anyone can tell me what I could do or some suggestions what is wrong I would really appreciate it, thank you.

What to do is to notify the seller that either he accepts your return or you notify ebays fraud dept. Sounds like he sold you a faulty machine. there could be any number of things wrong with it. Try narrowing the problem down. Can you hook it u to an external monitor? A leats that way you could run a hardware check. If you just bought it, I would be hesitant to mess with it too much. if you do too many things to it trying to diagnose the problem, then when you try to return it, the seller can claim that you actually broke it.
QUOTE Thanks
