PowerBook - Sleepy Powerbook?

hi can anyone help? i have a powerbook G4 1.33 with 768 meg of ram. the problem is when a render stuff in Final Cut Pro or in Ableton Live my laptop unexpectedly goes into sleep mode. I have set all the performance and energy settings so that it should never go to sleep. i understand this type of process puts strain on the laptop but should it really just go to sleep? Can anyone help me on this issue as to why it is happening and what i can do about it?

have u restarted ?

and is it very hot/overheating.

it doesnt seem to be overheating as it will happen even after ive just turn it on
