Settle yourself down, and get your self a PowerBook G4. It'll be fine, and you won't have to wait any longer. There is no telling when the new powerbooks are coming out, and rumors have said the new ones still won't be G5s, just updated G4s. But if you want to wait, it's your life, and you'll eventually be happy. So good luck there man.

Powerbooks ARE long overdue for an update - I hear April and May are months Apple likes to update its laptops, so I would expect one soon.
