I have been having problems with my ibook freezing. i have tryed doing the repair disk permissions and every time it is the same problem. it says:

"Determining correct file permissions.
We are using special permissions for the file or directory ./System/Library/Filesystems/cd9660.fs/cd9660.util. New permissions are 33261"

can anybody tell me what is making this happen?

Yeah it's just part of one of the latest updates Also are you running crons or using Mac Janitor? run cron tasks Finder, Applications. Utilities Terminal type (switching to root - superuser) sudo sh /etc/daily > this needs to be done /weekly (instead of daily) and monthly. again with all apps closed.
QUOTE Thanks
