PowerBook - G4 - Screen after sleep mode

After the Powerbook G4 goes into hibenation mode and then try and re-use it - the screen comes on but doesn't light up - so the desktop can be seen but only faintly... it's like a light isn't on....?

Even if you move the mouse it stays like that? It's got something to do with you energy saving prefs.

yea stays the same when moving the mouse...

update: the backlight doesn't come on at all anymore even after a restart....

umm no...sometimes hibernation turns off ure brigthness..just turn it back up lols
