Sugar,
You can record video from your iSight with iMovie (the iLife '06 one). You can also use quicktime pro.

Hope this helps!

Narf: i think that conference recorder is meant for recording conferences. Im not sure what sugar plans to do, but I think that QuickTime Pro is a better all around application.

ecamm sounds good!
I think I should think what to purchase, I just want to record some stuff from video chat, from online streaming, and directly from built in cammera.

In iMovie you can click the slider on the left hand side to the camera and you should be able to record.

I started IMovie HD, then "Make a Magic Movie", then I can see a video taken with my the built in camera, and after few secconds It says: "video capture cannot being, because a camra could not be found"
Are you sure that I can record video with the built in camera?

You have to create a new project.
Then select the camera tool (below screen) as oposed to scissors tool (edit mode).
On the camera icon you have a menu where you can choose built-in isight.

Good luck
