Its alright I will answer my own question + feed you all with some useful information I have found out on my search of the net. There is a product by griffin called the iFire that allows you to connect apple pro speakers to any fire wire machine it runs off the power of your laptop and amplifies the sound it sound great here have a look http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/ifire/
