panasonic slot load dvd burner compatiblity

I saw the panasonic UJ-815-B DVD slimline burner, and was wondering if it was compatible with the ibook g4 800mhz model and if so was it also compatible with iDVD4? anyone with experiance replacing the combo drive with this would also be great....
