OK, so I've posted about this before, and managed to figure out the problem myself, but I have another question regarding the line in port on the MacBook. I was wondering if there is anyway to listen to a line in source without having to open a program. Currently I have to use garage band, create a new track, and use the "monitor on" option to listen to any line in source on my computer. In windows, you can simply turn the line in on in the sound card mixer and listen without opening any other programs. Is there no way to do this in the Mac OS?
