well i had a mb before this. and now i have this nice new mbp.
anyways. no matter if i use the internal or an external fw400 dvdrw drive, the mbp goes 2MB/s transfer to the internal mbp HD. even if i transfer it to the external 200gb hd i have, its still slow. low and behold, i plug the fw400 dvdrw into my old mb, and it goes about 10MB/s what gives? when using the pro, and either dvd drive, the dvd never really starts spinning up fast, like on the mb. i thought these pro's were supposed to be a better solution, this just seems like a reversal to me 2.4ghz Unibody | Hitachi 320GB 7200 | 256MB 9600gt |
