Obviously I would prefer to use Ichat but can the built in cam on the macbook pro be used for msn, or any other type of video program like skype etc....

I have successfully used my iMacs iSight to communicate with my PC using Skype.

Skype automatically configures iSights, I just use that, being its free and is compatiable with almost all hardware under the sun.

I use Skype and a great fee to use program called Sightspeed. Sightspeed works between mac and pc, and runs at near 30Fps. I have chatted many many hours on end with my friend in America. i'm in the uk.

MacBook Pro 1.83Ghz 2Gb RAM 320Gb hard drive
iPhone 4 16Gb
iPod photo 20Gb
