I'm not trying to offend anybody either, but I have found that for some electronic devices you can tell the quality level you can expect by knowing where were built
I don't know if it is tha same for laptops or mac's

isnt it usually that parts of most electronic devices are made around the world and then assembled in a country? read an article maybe two years ago about this, i dont think the country of assembly has anything much to do with the finished product, more like the individual components.
