    replacing macbook HD with one i found at best buy. little help please!
    hey everybody. im wanting to upgrade my hard drive in my macbook to about 160gigs. best buy is having a sale this weekend on a specific 160 gig internal HD and im curious if this baby will fit in my macbook

    MacBook 2.0GHz White, 512MB RAM, 60GB HDD
    That particular drive won't fit because it uses an old Parallel ATA interface. You need Serial ATA (SATA) for Macbooks.

    you want that. i just got it, its great.

    d/l Super Duper, have an external HD or an SATA 2.5 ext. case ready, copy your HD onto the other drive, pull out the old, slide in the new one, you're ready to go.

    kevin, that is a great price.

    anyone seen a macbook/macbook pro replacement 200 gig HD out there for right at or cheaper than 200 bucks?

    200 gig for 200$? in a laptop?

    nOT right now that wont happen. newegg is usually the closest in price, and theirs are 240$!

    that 5k160 is basically the best you can buy right now. ive got its first gen 5k120 in my mbp, its decent.
