Yesterday, I was taking my Powerbook around to somewhere, when it fell out of my hands. Now, the CD drive doesn't work, it only sometimes starts up, and it only runs off the power wire instead of battery.I think I've shocked the board. I dropped it in the worst place possible. The bottom left corner.

Pictures on request.

Oh man that is not good - however out of some sick morbid interest I'd like to have a look at just what damage has been caused.

On the plus side... If you've been looking for an excuse for a macbook........

I just bought this powerbook used.

For just one of the parts, it's $500 CAD.(bottom case)

I'm getting myself a mac mini.
