I have just got myself a used 1.33ghz, 1.5GBRAM, 40GBHD ibook. As we all know the built in speakers are useless so I'm after some external ones. I've seen a few good reviews on the JBL Creature II speaker system and wondered if anyone here had any opinions on these speakers? How do they connect to the ibook - just via the 3.5mm headphone jack? Also, are there any other similarly priced speaker system recommendations to match the ibook? Thanks

Well i have my panasonic stereo system plugged into my mbp but for computer speakers i would suggest and 2.1 system from either altec lansing or logitech. they both make good stuff.
