Anyone here replaced the HD in their MacBook Pro?
    Any Tips?

It seems pretty easy. I can get the HD out with only taking out 1/3 of the screws required to do it on an iBook.

I would have probably been content with 120, but I only have 100.

yea the space on the 120 is enough for me. i just feel the speed of my new perpendicular 120gb hd is just slower than my old 60gb hd in my macbook

I want to to change my HD, but not for size but for speed. I decided to buy a MBP 17" when they next upgrade (whenever that is, way off I guess). I just really want a 7200HDD in a notebook.

opening your laptop voids the warranty right? I have frequently wanted to get in there to see my machine in all its glory, but have been worried about the warranty especially since my first MBP was such a piece of crap.
