I just recently got a macbookpro and I've never had a mac before. I uploaded photos from my camera but now whenever I try to upload photos it doesn't recognize, any new ones being there?? This makes it impossible to upload any new photos from my camera. So I have two questions number one is there a way to fix this and two is there anywhere else I can upload my photos to other then iphoto. Any help would be great

You can use the image capture application. Which is located in your application folder.
