Macbook - Does MacBook have a built in Mic?

Do the new MacBooks have a built in Mic? And if so how is the sound quality compared to the iBookG4. I currently have an iBook and use the built in mic all the time for recording song ideas into Garageband. It is just so easy for sketching ideas when I dont have an interface or external mic me. I have really come to rely on it.
And now that I am thinking about upgrading to a MacBook I want to make sure it still has this capability.

thanks mucho
