Macbook - will my old Apps run on new MacBook?

I am currently using an iBook G4 1.2 Ghz with 30 gig HD. Running out of space and wanting to upgrade. Considering buying a Black Macbook 120 HD w/ 2Ghz RAM.

I currently use Photoshop, Illustrator and Final Cut. I do NOT use these programs for hardcore professional use. Just projects here and there.
But will I need to upgrade these Apps in order for them to work properly? Is buying a Macbook just a waste of money if I dont have the upgraded versions of all my programs?

Also... I currently use GarageBand which is great but considering switching to ProTools or some other audio editing program. Will this computer be adequate?

thanks

Photoshop and Illustrator will run comparable to what you are running at now, maybe just a little faster on the macbook. Final cut is not able to be run through rosetta and will need to be upgraded (if your not doing pro projects with it, then express should be fine for you)

Pro tools will run on your macbook when you decide to upgrade to it.
