iBook - My ibook g3 audio port isnt working right!!!

I have an ibook g3 900mhz. Recently it seems that when i plug in a speaker only the right one works, ive tried multiple speakers. When i turn the sound all the way up i can hear a little out of the left. I've checked all sound properties and the built in left speaker works, so i dont know what is happening.

It sounds like it could be a problem with the output jack on the iBook. If you gently wiggle the plug in the jack, does the channel that is almost dead get any louder or cut out?

It doesn't work.... Is it possible to replace it? Or dod I have to go to the apple store to fix it? but it seems kinda old.
