battery life

does the backlight on the macbook screen burn the battery up alot more or that much quicker than if it were a tiny bit lower.
the colors on the screen are amazing if you use it to its full brightness.

Having the screen dimmer does extend battery life. I have mine about 30% brightness when on battery (if I can) and it extends the life by about 45 minutes I reckon.

I see great battery life with the brightness turned all the way up. I like it bright
