Sooo. Today im ipoding, allll dayyy. i just bought an 80 gig ipod and put about 25 gigs of music on my computer in the last week. today which deleteing some songs and such exactly HALF of my screen starts going crazy. its purplish, then pitch black. then wavy lines. restart. power done. pull the battery out. whole 9, nothing helps. but i still have half a screen, so i go to transfer all 25 gisonto my new ipod. it gets to about 5,500 and freezes. my ipod doesnt work. my screen is still half broke. What do i do?! i dont have much stuff on my computer but i dont really wanna lose all the music, or some of the other random stuff i have. couild it be a mac virus? i know they are rare, and i dont even really download much stuff!
also, i have had my laptop for 1.5 years. i dont have the extended warranty thing. am i gonna have to pay to fix my laptop? if so, any ideas how much. f

Doesn't sound like a virus, rather a faulty or broken screen. Find a local Apple Store and have a Genius look at it.
